FAIRFIELD RESIDENTS--DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR STATE AND LOCAL VOTING DISTRICT IS, AND WHERE YOUR POLLING PLACE IS? BETTER MAKE SURE!

Only forty percent of registered Fairfield voters voted in last year's Town elections. In February 2015 many of our polling locations changed due to redistricting. It's possible that some of our citizens did not vote because they were unexpectedly turned away from their usual polling place.

Plan ahead. Check below to find out where you should vote. Then make it a more than successful experience by bringing a friend or two (regardless of political affiliation) and go out for coffee later, if you have the time.

Find Your Polling Place. Check to see if You Are Registered.
To find your polling place, where you will vote, go to ct.gov/where-do-i-vote on the CT Secretary of State's web site. Type in your street address, town, and zip and you will be given your polling place. To find out if you are registered, click here and fill in your locality, name and birthdate and you will get registration information.

You can Find Your State & Federal Legislators...
To check, go to cga.gov
At the bottom of the screen under "Find Your Legislators", select Fairfield from the list, fill in your street and number, then click "Find". You will be given the names of your State and Federal Legislators as well as the voting districts they represent.

Or call the Fairfield Registrars of Voters office (203-256-3115). If this is your preference, call soon, as they are already getting very busy!
